Darryl Vanamburg and I have worked on this Levitation for approx 5 years and have finally reached our goal in presenting Magicians with what we believe to be the best Levitation ever. We were both inspired by other marketed levitations that in our minds were severely lacking the WOW factor ! A twisted coin merge gets a shocking reaction ... in any spectator!

Borrow two coins and SLAM them together in a twisted cross of metal.
The coins are fused together -- literally -- visibly. Hand the coins out for examination, the secret will not be found, guaranteed.

Superman

The Magician approaches an unknowing spectator and asks, "Do you have a quarter on you today, Ma'am?" The spectator proceeds to look for change in her pocket. The Magician then prompts, "Could you please sign the coin for me before I take it from you." (The coin does not need to be signed, but it adds to the effect's finale.) At this point, the Magician takes the coin, holding it in view of the spec, and says, "I'm going to try something here ... You knw what? You may be able to do the same as I do. Do you have another quarter?" The spec reaches into her pocket and retrieves another coin. The Magician, hold the signed, borrowed coin at the fingertips, and begins to rub the coin, saying, "Rub your coin like me. Can you see mine starting to bend?" The Magician finished showing the bent coin, and immediately gives the coin to the spec as a souvnir. The coin can now be fully examined.

Canadian "Lethal Tender"

This effect, by the great master Steve Dusheck, uses a unique self-working gimmick to amaze and astonish your audience. No sleights are necessary so it is a must for all experience levels. The precision-made set of coins includes two superb routines. A card case containing a card and a Chinese coin is presented. The Chinese coin is removed and placed on top of the case. Remove the card and gently wave it above the Chinese coin. What! It has changed to a Toonie. Pass the card over the Toonie and it INSTANTLY changes back to a Chinese coin. In the second effect, a brass Chinese coin and a Canadian Toonie are shown on the inside of a wallet. On the other side of the wallet is a playing card. The card is removed from the wallet and the spectator is given a choice of either coin. The selected coin is removed from the wallet. The other coin stays inside the wallet. The wallet is folded. The selected coin is placed immediately over the coin that is still in the wallet. The visible coin is tapped with the card and the two coins instantly change places.

The Effect
A copper key is placed in your left hand and a nickel is held at your right fingertips. Both hands are slowly closed into fists and held three feet apart.

A moment later when both hands are opened, the key and coin have impossibly changed places!

"Mojo Boogie Boxes!

Effect:
Three coin boxes. Two are empty. The spectator examines and fills the third with half dollars. A three-shell game for the millennium - the coins continually vanish from the box they’re in and appear in one of the other boxes. An empty box is pushed aside. just two boxes are left in play, one empty, one with the coins. The coins vanish from one box, skip the second box and the spectator finds them way over there in the discarded box!

"Billusion"!

A best selling effect during his recent tour of the United Kingdom. Be one of the first to own it in the U.S.!

Effect: You ask for the loan of a bill. Any bill any denomination. You display a small metal disc. You explain that the disc is made of an unidentifiable material that you found while visiting what was rumored to be the site of a UFO crash! Or you can just say it’s a metal disc...it’s up to you. Either way, you begin to rub the disc across the bill, suddenly it appears to melt halfway into the bill! This is a startling and visual moment when it appear as if the effect was literally stopped in the middle of the magic. To finish, you cause the disc to actually pop right through the bill and into the spectator’s waiting hands. Everything is immediately handed out for inspection.  Jay has called this the ULTIMATE bar trick! No complex moves or involved handling. This is one little miracle that you carry with you all the time.

Jay Sankey's "Key Deposit"!

Effect: You bring out your key chain, remove a single key, and place it into the spectator's hand. You now remove the metal key tag from the chain and draw attention to the hole running through it. You place the tag into the spectator's other hand. You then explain that your going to make "nothing" move from one location to another. You have the spectator tap her two fists together and ask "What did you feel move?". The spectator says, "Nothing." You say "Perfect!". The spectator opens the hand with the tag and the hole is now gone! Stranger still, when the spectator opens her other hand she discovers that "Nothing" really has moved! She finds not one, but TWO holes in the key she has been holding the entire time!

• The key is never switched!
• Your hands are completely empty at the end!

Magic Pea Can

An aluminum "pea can", a cork, a black bean, and a green pea are displayed to a spectator. The spec is asked to examine the bean and the pea, and then drop them boh into the open can. The cork is placed in the opening of the can to seal teh bean & pea inside. The Magician picks up the can and shakes it so that the two items inside are heard ratting together. The Magician now askes the spec to choose the bean or the pea. The Magician then asks the spec to hold out an open hand. The cok is removed, and the Magaician pours liquid into the spec's hand.
